I was all geared up to give a major presentation in my business class – and get it the hell over with already, Jesus Pete – but our group got shuffled to next week due to technical difficulty.
I wanted to finish and not have to worry, but I suppose it’s a good thing that I can fix the little issues I wanted to that I thought I was going to have to swing during the presentation. The other blessing in disguise was that I woke up this morning looking like Quasimodo and my right eye was swollen shut.
Group work makes me twitch: I have such a Type A personality that if I’m going to sink, at least it will be because I did it to myself, as opposed to having four other anchors around my neck. Delegating has never been my thing – I just never think anyone can do a job as well as I can.
I guess I’m going to have to get myself all worked up again next Monday. Wish me luck.
